Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data LinksApps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the rights you have. It applies to the LinksApps service (the "Service").

1. Data we collect

• Account data — your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Page content — the links, text, images, and products you add to your page.
• Billing data — your plan, subscription status, and billing country. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage and analytics data — page views, link clicks, device type, approximate location from IP, and referrer, used to power your dashboard analytics.
• Support data — anything you send us when you contact support.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to provide and secure the Service, show you analytics, process payments, respond to support requests, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Processors we rely on

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the Service. Each processes data only for the purpose listed:

• Supabase — database and authentication (stores your account and page data).
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
• Dodo Payments — billing and subscription payments, acting as Merchant of Record.
• Anthropic — powers our AI features. Content sent to generate suggestions is not used to train their models.
• PostHog — product analytics that help us understand and improve the Service.
• Google — sign-in with Google (OAuth), if you choose to use it.

4. Legal bases and your rights

We process your data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in running and improving the Service.

• India (DPDP Act, 2023) — you may access, correct, update, and erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. You can also raise a grievance (see our Contact page).
• EU/UK (GDPR) — you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
• California (CCPA/CPRA) — you have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing". We do not sell your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@linksapps.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
